-Explain the method of civil liability
-Explain and give examples for criminal liability
-Explain why legislation is required for good corporate governance
-Explain responsibilities of employee, employer, and contractors to ensure compliance
-Explain legislative accountability, indicate implications of non-compliance
-Explain current mine health and safety regulation
-Identify structures / appointments to facilitate

-Explain responsibility of employer to provide means to comply with health and safety legislation
-Explain accountability and responsibilities of designated appointees
-Draft a compliance plan
-Identify legislation
-Identify how compliance can be achieved
